i have a Rasputina song stuck in my head, well i wouldn't necessarily call it a song, but i'm totally obsessed with it. it's called PJ + Matthew + Vincent + Bjork, or something of that sort. it's a dialogue making fun of those celebs and i think it's hilarious and totally want to make a video and dress up as each character. so i'm thinking i'll do that in the near future.
i'm so sick of the hype with the holidays. i'm ready for thanksgiving, christmas, and new year to be done and over with and bring back summer. i already have my bathingsuit picked out, i just have to purchase it. i've never ordered one offline before, i'm kinda sketchy because i want to choose the right sizes, but i'm dying for this suit because i don't think many will have it. or at least the two pieces paired up. and i'm buying new glasses soon. i'm giving in and buying those "trendy" glasses that are big and dorky with clear lenses, but when i get them i'm going to fill them with my perscription. i should be allowed to wear them since they are perscription and i'm not wearing them just because. well, i suppose i would be wearing them just because, but i feel like i've made my point.

facing my fears
this past friday, john and i took a road trip to st augustine and orlando for two main purposes; the st augustine lighthouse was my FAVORITE episode of ghost hunters, and sea world orlando to face my fear of killer whales.
it was nice to get away from everything, st augustine was amazing, the lighthouse was amazing. i never thought id get to stand in the illegid haunted lighthouse. i was reliving the episode of ghost hunters on the way to the top and back down to the bottom.
however, orlando was somewhat.. annoying, in my opinion. gimmicks at every street corner, ridiculous tourist attractions, a little too over the top. nonetheless, i had fun. we most dined at all-you-can-eat buffets, and walked the streets. even got to see the space shuttle launch. saturday was the big day for sea world. all of the animals were so cute, of course i saved shamu for last. i had a breakdown for a few minutes and cried. it hard to describe how i felt at that moment, but coming so close to something im so afraid of was overwhelming. but i did it! and theyre not so bad afterall. i cant say im totally over my fear, but im a little more comfortable with them. tilikum was the "shamu" of the show, hes too big to really perform with trainers, so they use him to splash everyone, besides who would honestly want to swim with the one whos already killed 2 people. but hes my favorite for some reason.
